Radiative transfer plays an important role in Astrophysics since it delivers most of the information from the universe and also is the key process for the connection between the theoretical framework to the observation. Thus we initiated SPARX project to build the simulation tool.
SPARX — Simulation Package for Astronomical Radiative Xfer — is designed to simulate submillimeter/millimeter wavelength radiative process. It can compute molecular/atomic line, dust/gas continuum emission and their polarized properties. SPARX can manipulate various coordinate system and has the capability of parallel computing.
